new sports car. UK buyers will get their first chance to the 4C at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed. In fact, it will be the first time that the car has ever been displayed in the UK.

The 4C Launch Edition will be part of the festival’s First Glance Class of new vehicles, and it will be making a run up the Goodwood Hill Climb course.

The 4C is Alfa’s latest sports coupe with compact dimensions and a turbocharged engine. The 4C is 4m long, 2m wide and 118cm tall. Power comes from an aluminum, direct-injected turbocharged 1750cc four-cylinder with 240hp and 350Nm of torque. It will get the car to 100km/h in 4.5 seconds and will pull 1.1 lateral g under hard cornering.

On display with the 4C will be an Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale.

“What better event for the Alfa 4C to make a thrilling UK debut? We can’t wait to see the crowd reaction as this fantastic car takes to the famous Hill Climb for the very first time,” said Damien Dally, Head of Brand at Alfa Romeo UK.
