Audi Opens Audi City Showroom in Beijing

has opened its second Audi City showroom worldwide in Beijing. It is located on Changan Street in the heart of the city. 

The Audi City dealers attempt to allow buyers to experience an entire vehicle virtually without having ever touched the real thing. It includes a wall onto which the car can be projected in full size, zoomed and options and colors added or changed. 

The Audi City in Beijing covers 2,100m² (22,604ft²) over two stories and has 14 cars on display. 

“With Audi City Beijing, we bring a new exclusive and futuristic brand experience right to the midst of the urban lives of the people in Beijing. The vibrant capital of our largest sales market worldwide is a perfect location for this innovative digital showroom concept," said Luca de Meo, head of sales and marketing at Audi.

The next Audi City showroom will be in Berlin. The first was built in London in 2012.
