My father once told me that the only way to really, truly know a business is to start at the bottom and work your way up. Apparently Bentley Motors feels the same way. They’re looking for 20 candidates for their apprentance program. If you’re in the vicinity of Crewe, Cheshire, UK on March 19th and are interested in an automotive career, the folks at Bentley would like to meet you.
“Our apprenticeship scheme has been recognized as one of the best at a national level and we are looking for enthusiastic students who relish a challenge and who will seize this opportunity to display their potential,” says Christine Gaskell, member of the Board for Personnel.
The crew at Crewe wants to fill apprentice positions in the following areas: craft, technical, technician, junior engineer, and commercial and business. The courses start in September and run two to four years, depending on the discipline. Academics are included as the apprentice program works in conjunction with local colleges.
Applicants will get a look inside the Bentley facility, including the design studios, which will feature a special “The Unbroken Line” exhibition. Many historic Bentleys will also be on display. Current apprentices will be on had to answer questions, discuss working at Crewe and demonstrate the skills that future apprentices can expect to learn.
Application will be accepted online until May 16th at: www.bentleymotors.com/careers/apprenticeship_programmes/
