Group sold 954,521 cars in the first six months of the year, a 6% increase, and it sold 184,489 cars in June, a 6.9%.
“The BMW Group achieved its best ever sales figures in the first half of this year and last month, despite the prevailing headwinds in some European markets,” said Ian Robertson, BMW head of sales and marketing.
Europe is still BMW Group’s biggest market. It sold 436,483 cars, down 0.1% compared to the first half of last year.
Asia is BMW Group’s second-largest market with 272,100 cars sold in the first six months of the year, a gain of 14.4%. China accounted to 182,800 of these sales, a 15% increase. For June alone, China bought 34,481 BMW Group cars, up 44.1%.
North America bought 213,473 BMW Group vehicles for the first six months of the year, up 9.7%. The Unites States took 172,787 of those sales, up 9.0%. For June, the US purchased 33,645 BMW Group cars, up 21.4%. The X1BMW X1Germany, 2009 > present51 versions

The BMW brand sold 804,248 cars in the first six months of the year, up 7.7%, and 153,075 cars for June, up 9.4%. The 3 Series leads sales with 236,215 units sold worldwide in the first six months of 2013, up 21.8%.

sold 148,798 cars in the first six months, a 2% drop over the same period last year, and it sold 31,102 cars in June, down 3.8%. The sales drop in Europe is harming it most, but Mini sales are up 6.3% in China and up 10.4% in Russia.
