BMW Group Worldwide Sales Hit October Record

Group set another monthly sales record for October with 165,851 cars sold worldwide, up 5.2% from the previous year. From January to October, sales are up 7.3% to 1,602,018.

“We remain on track with a new all-time high in sales in October and in the first ten months, despite the continued headwinds in some European markets,” said BMW head of sales Ian Robertson.

Regionally, BMW Group has sold 711,918 cars in Europe through October, up 0.1%. In Asia, it has sold 469,434 cars through October, up 17.7%. China accounted for 317,822 of those sales, up 20% from last year. BMW has sold 366,661 cars in North America through October, up 11.1%. Of them 295,474 went to the US, up 10.6%.
