The VR7 standard means that the car can take 3 rounds from a 5.56 x 45mm or 7.62 x 51mm bullet in a 120mm triangle from 10m away. These are the types of bullets fired by an AK-47 or M16. VR9 means that certain areas of the car can also take 3 rounds from an armor piercing 7.62 x 51mm bullet in a 120mm triangle from 10m away.
