had its best sales ever for July by selling 152,349 cars worldwide, up 12.3% over the previous July. From January to July of this year, BMW has sold 1,106,876 cars, up 6.8% over the previous year. 

“Our July sales result has given us an excellent start to the second half of the year. We aim to maintain the momentum in the next months and our focus remains on a global balance of sales. We continue to target sales volume growth for the full year and hence a new all-time high for worldwide sales," said BMW Head of Sales Ian Robertson. 

By region, BMW Group sold 46,721 cars in Asia in July, up 29.1%, It sold 37,044 cars in the Americas in July, up 12%. And it sold 63,441 cars in Europe in July, a 4.1% increase.

was the bestselling model with 39,799 sales, up 41.6% from the previous year. It has sold 932,848 cars from January to July of 2013, up 8.4%.

sold 23,515 cars in July, up 6.4%. Sales in China were up 65.2% to 2,300 cars. From January to July, Mini has sold 172,313 cars, down 1% from the previous year. The brand just announced that the third generation MiniMINI (BMW) MINI VisionGermany, 2013 > 2013 will be introduced on November 18 and go on sale in the first quarter of 2014.
