We reported on Cadillac developing its new ATS sedan at the Nuerburgring a few weeks ago. Cadillac wants the car to compete with the BMW 3-series, but given how that car is grown and that Cadillac already has the CTS, it will more likely fit between the 3-series and 1-series in size.
This video does not tell us a lot more about the car, but it does raise a great question. Is Nuerburgring development more marketing than engineering? What do you think? General Motors obviously has testing sites where it could work on this car, but taking it to the Nuerburgring puts it out in the open. It tells the world that they are making this car, and that makes people like us write about it.
So what of it, does Nuerburgring development really make a car better?
