continuously, and except for an unsuccessful attempt to launch a full-bodied version of the car in 1994 called the Caterham 21Caterham 21United Kingdom, 1994 > 20004 versions
, versions of the Seven have been the only cars that it has ever made, unless you count the company's recent forays into Formula 1 and GP2.

However, Caterham thinks that it is time to develop a completely new model of its own, and it intends to have that car on sale by 2015. According to a report in the German magazine Spiegel, Caterham is working with Renault for the engine. It also might work with Lola again for the monocoque as it did on the SP/300RSP/300RCaterham SP/300RUnited Kingdom, 2011 > present4 photos

Caterham wants to increase its volume. Despite being in business since the 70s, it sells just 1,500 cars a year. The current Caterham Seven appeals to a very small, hardcore audience who want a car without ABS, traction control, stability control or even a roof.
