Chevrolet Teases 7th Gen Corvette in Wind Tunnel Video

has already revealed the new car's engine, and now we are getting our first slight glimpses of the rest of the car. 

Chevrolet has released a new teaser video showing the car under camouflage in a wind tunnel. 

“The all-new Corvette integrates more high-performance aerodynamic features than ever before, many taken directly from Corvette Racing,” said Tadge Juechter, Corvette chief engineer.

Jeuchter says that the car has been engineered so that the front grill reduces front lift, and the car has functional brake cooling ducts in the grill and air pathways for the transmission radiator and differential radiator. 

“It’s said that form follows function, but in the case of the aerodynamic 2014 Corvette, form and function work cohesively to produce beautiful purpose," said 7th gen Corvette exterior designer Kirk Bennion. 

Chevrolet will unveil the seventh generation car on January 13, one day before the North American International Auto Show in Detroit opens.
