at the Paris Motor Show. The 458 Speciale A458 Speciale AFerrari 458 Speciale AItaly, 2014 > present (A for Aperta) is launched as a celebration and tribute to the tremendous success that the model achieved on the market, the several awards it won and the victories it conquered on the Le Mans, Daytona and Sebring tracks.

According to Ferrari this special edition is the most powerful spider in the manufacturer's history, combining extreme performance with open-top driving experience. The retractable hard top takes 14 seconds to deploy or retract. Made of aluminum it helped reduced the weight of the car by 50kg when compared to the Speciale coupe.

At the heart of the 458 Speciale A is the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 engine ever built by Ferrari. It delivers 605 horsepower and 540Nm of torque at 6000rpm, resulting in 275g/km of CO2 emissions. It reaches 100km/h in 3.0 seconds and performed a Fiorano lap time of 1m23.5. This is in part due to its front and rear aerodynamics, chassis rigidity and Side Slip Angle Control (SSC).

The 458 Speciale A will be unveiled in a triple-layer yellow and a central stripe in Blu Nart (blue) and Bianco Avus (white) as well as 5-spoke forged wheels in Grigio Corsa.

On the inside the cockpit features a racing inspired look with handcrafted exclusive materials and redesigned seats in Alcantara with contrasting stitching.
