Ferrari goes back to work

After the Christmas and New Year holidays, Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro is back on work at full capacity.

Over this period some of the areas of the team have continued the development of the design of the new car and on parts production. In fact, just before Christmas the first 2011 car chassis had already undergone and passed a series of crash tests.

But only now is the team back in full power with less than one month to go for the first pre-season testing that will take place near Valencia, at Cheste’s “Ricardo Tormo” circuit. According to Ferrari the official presentation of the new car should take place on the last week of January.

Next week both Alonso and Massa will be heading to Madonna di Campiglio, where the twenty first edition of “Wrooom” wil take place. This event traditionally joins both the the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro drivers and their two-wheeled counterparts from the Ducati Marlboro Team.

For Alonso and Massa this will be another relaxing venue to enjoy the fun of winter sports and to take once again the challenge of driving on the frozen lake in the Trentina region towards the end of the week.
