have finally agreed to a joint venture, but it is less broad than originally planned. The two companies will co-develop three new vehicles.

The three new platforms will be an MPV for OpelOpelOpelGermany, 1863 > present85 models

The first of these cars will hit the market in 2016.

They will also create a family of small-displacement gas engines based on PSA's EB engine, which is the three-cylinder used in the 208208 Gen.1Peugeot 208 Gen.1France, 2012 > present103 versions

Finally, they will investigate creating a C-segment MPV and crossover for Latin America. 

In a separate agreement, GM and PSA will begin purchasing components together in a new joint venture, but this is still subject to anti-trust approval in Europe
