would be the last car to use the MkVI platform, but it appears that there will be a very limited number of one more. German magazine Auto Bild spied a Golf RVolkswagen Golf R DSGGermany, 2010 > present3 photos

It expects that the car will go on sale in the upcoming fall and will be limited to as few as 250 cars. It uses the same 267hp and 260lb-ft of torque engine as the standard Golf R with all-wheel drive. The standard Golf R will accelerate to 100km/h in 5.5 seconds. The GTI Cabrio takes 0.4 seconds longer to accelerate to 100km/h than the hard top. While Volkswagen has not released any specific details, it seems safe then to assume the car will take around 5.9 seconds to accelerate to 100km/h. 

The car will likely only be on sale in Europe like that standard GTI Cabrio.
