HB20X, which is another Brazil-only compact SUV.
The tiny crossover goes on sale early next year in Brazil and is based on the HB20 hatchback that was launched last month. The HB20X has a new front bumper with a hexagonal grill. The headlights are reshaped with black bezels and chrome trim. At the rear, the HB20X gets a new bumper and headlights. The body of the car is identical to the HB20 hatch. However, the rest of the car gets a high ride height, roof bars and 15in wheels.
The interior is the same as the standard HB20, but the X gets chrome trim, blue stitching on the seats and dashboard and aluminum pedals.
The only engine for the HB20X is a 1.6-liter four-cylinder that can be fueled by either petrol or ethanol that produces 128hp. A CVT is the only transmission option.
Hyundai is planning a sedan version of the HB20 for next year as well.
All of Hyundai's HB20 variants are built at the company's factory in Piracicaba, Sao Paulo.
