to move upmarket and grow larger. Planning for the next XK is still in the earliest stages. Jaguar designer Ian Callum says that the F-Type will "“allow the car to become a bit more special than a GT."

“It could grow into the luxury market, and grow in size. Whether it stays the same as a two-plus-two or becomes a two-plus-more-than-two has not been committed to yet," said Callum.

It almost sounds like the XK could fill the role of the old XJSJaguar XJ-S V12United Kingdom, 1975 > present1 photo
as a luxury GT instead of a more pure sports car.
