Lamborghini Sesto Elemento to Go Into Production Says Lambo CEO Winkelmann

Lamborghini CEO has confirmed Stephan Winkelmann has confirmed that the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento will be going into production in a very limited capacity in 2013.

The Sesto Elemento concept was first shown at the 2010 Paris Auto Show. The car is the first Lamborghini since the to weigh less than 1000kg. With its 570hp V10 and 999kg weight, Lamborghini claims that the Sesto Elemento will be capable of a 0-100km/h of just 2.5 seconds. The car is entirely made of carbon fiber.

Right now Lamborghini is planning produce just 20 examples of the Sesto Elemento with deliveries starting in 2013.
