Lamborghini Trademarks Huracán for Passenger Cars

Lamborghini trademarked the name Deimos a few weeks ago, and so far it has come to nothing. However, now it is trademarking the name Huracán for a future model and perhaps that will become a car a little sooner.

Lamborghini trademarked the Huracán name for "passenger cars and the structural components thereof." That means that in theory that the Huracán name could be applied to a future trim level or special edition of an existing Lamborghini model.

Huracán is Spanish for hurricane and was also a Mayan god for wind, storms and fire. Interestingly, the last name that Lamborghini trademarked, Deimos, was also a god, but he was a personification of fear especially in war.
