dealers. It will begin looking for interested parties to create dealers later this year.

“Lincoln is an important part of our plan, and introducing Linc#oln in China marks the next step in our expansion in Asia and our commitment to serving customers in the luxury market,” said Ford CEO Alan Mulally.

Ford is predicting that luxury cars will be big business in China in 2020. They could be 9% of the Chinese car market, which equates to 2.7 million cars. Luxury cars are currently 3% of the Chinese market.

“Globally, we’re seeing a new generation of luxury clients who value more individualistic and tailored options,” said Jim Farley, Ford's Head of Marketing.

Ford plans to introduce 20 new models and 15 new powertrains to China by 2015.
