Mazda reveals sketches of the new BT-50

Mazda has revealed the first sketches of the BT-50, the compact pickup truck that the brand will be presenting at a press conference at the 2010 Australian International Motor Show on the 15th of October 2010. The BT-50 will be the centre-piece of Mazda’s stand throughout the show.

Presented as an “active lifestyle vehicle” the Mazda BT-50 is set to change the conventional image of a compact pickup, given it a more modern and refined look.

Having been developed from scratch as a brand new type of vehicle, Mazda states that the BT-50 will offer the best solution to a wide range of customers who lead active lifestyles.

The new model from Mazda has a look that is recognizable as being part of the brand’s lineup. It has sculptured lines that can be compared with an athlete’s finely muscled body, offering the BT-50 a sporty and dynamic design.

Further details will be unveiled on the 15th October at the 2010 Australian International Motor Show.
