McLaren Reveals More About P1 Supercar with New Video

now with what it calls race-inspired camouflage. This is the first official release of information about the car since the Paris Motor Show. McLaren says that the car it is testing now is technically the P1 XP development car, and it is still making changes to the car. 

In the video that McLaren has released, the company says that it is still been working on the car since showing it in Paris, and it allows us to hear the new supercar for the first time. The video does not show the P1's active rear wing working yet. 

McLaren is bringing its F1 experience to bear on the car. It says that the body was created using computational fluid dynamics and its Formula 1 dynamics simulation tools. It is also working with brake maker Akebono, Pirelli and Mobil 1 to create bespoke parts for the car. 

McLaren still says that the car is meant to be the best driver's car ever, not necessarily the fastest.
