McLaren unveils first image of the P1 GTR

has something special in store for the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, the premiere of the P1 GTR

The track focused car was developed in response to P1's client requests to have a track version of the P1

. And according to McLaren the P1 GTR will be available only for owners of the street legal version. Production of the car will be thus limited to 375 units and it should start in june 2015.
The design concept will be first unveiled in a private and exclusive event in Pebble Beach on August 15th. The public premiere will take place in the following days at the same event.
