“The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a global success story. Sales of over 10 million C-Class cars speak for themselves. Launched as the ‘Baby Benz’, it is now one of the most popular cars in the premium segment," said Dr Joachim Schmidt, head of sales and marketing at Mercedes.
This summer Mercedes will introduce a special Edition C to Germany that adds an AMG body kit, upgraded interior materals and upgraded infotainment system for the sedan, estate and coupe. It adds €1,785.00 to the cost or €1,011.50 if the buyer has ordered the AVANTGARDE trim.
Mercedes launched the 190 in November 1982 and kept it into production until 1993. It sold about 1.875 million of the cars over the decade, including the famous Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16Germany, 1988 > 19931 photo
