The vehicle, which Mini is calling the Mini Mini, is a small remote controlled car that will be used during the field games to return equipment to the athletes.

The Mini Mini can carry 8kg of load for 35 minutes. That means that it can carry one hammer, discus or shot at a time or two javelins. It is operated by a convectional radio control unit and can be recharged in 80 minutes. Mini has built three of them so they can constantly be in service.

The Mini MIni's electric motor has 10hp of power and is made to look like a Mini CooperMINI Gen.2 [56]MINI (BMW) MINI Gen.2 [56]Germany, 2007 > 201377 versions

“The MINI team was thrilled to be given this challenge to develop a vehicle with such an important and high profile role during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
