next year, but 2014 is still wide open. Audi's plan for now is to release the even more powerful RS3 and plug-in hybrid E-Tron for 2014. 

Neither model is completely clear yet. For example, Audi created a brand new 2.0-liter engine for the new S3 with 296hp. It could turn the power up on the turbo to increase power or it continue to tune the five cylinder 2.5-liter inline-five from the Audi TT RS PlusAudi TT RS plusGermany, 2012 > present5 photos
with 355hp. Regardless, weight will certainly decrease with the new MQB chassis.

used a 1.4-liter turbo with an electric motor to produce 234hp. Audi is far more likely to sacrifice efficiency in favor of power for the production version.
