New Subaru Impreza WRX Models for 2011

Subaru has unveiled the new 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX. The new model will be available in 4- and 5-door versions and will feature a wide-body design like the brand's WRX STI model.

The new Impreza WRX had its front and rear tracks increased by 1.5 inches and is now equipped with 17-inch wheels and tires that improve the grip in the 2011 MY. Based on a "wide and low" concept the new design gives a street presence to both cars.

According to Tom Doll, executive vice president and COO of Subaru of America, Inc. The new wide-body designs mark another major step on the continuous evolution of the WRX to give driving enthusiasts an even more compelling all-wheel drive performance package”.

Both 2011 Impreza WRX will be powered by a 65-hp turbocharged/intercooled 2.5-liter 4-cylinder Subaru-Boxer engine teamed with a 5-speed manual transmission and equipped with the Continuous AWD version of Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive.
