Nico Rosberg Fastest in Second Practice

Rosberg was fastest in practice and is hoping to take a back-to-back win on Sunday

Nico Rosberg was fastest in the second round of practice for the Bahrain Grand Prix. Red Bull had the next two fastest spots with Webber in second and Vettel in third. Rosberg was nearly half a second faster than Webber.

All of the teams had issues with sand blowing onto the track. While the track is smooth, off the racing line it is quite slick and several cars had minor excursions over curbs and slightly off track due to the sand.

Force India decided not to take part in the practice session because its mechanics did not feel safe driving back to the hotel after dark from the track. It will be on track tomorrow for qualifying tomorrow.
