With only just a month to go until the Paris Motor Show starts brands are already unveiling what new stuff they will be presenting. With press presentations happening on the 30th September and 1st October surprises should still show up.
Of course the French brands will have something special to say in their homeland. For example Renault has already announced the premier of the DeZir, an electric sports concept car. Peugeot will be presenting 508 saloon, inspired on the SR1 concept, and Citroën announced for Paris the premiere of the new C4.
On the German side Audi announced for Paris the world premiere of the A7. Mercedes-Benz will be presenting the new CLS. The new Passat will be shining at Volkswagen’s stand while at Opel the Astra GTC Paris concept car is already confirmed.
Striking design continues to be the bet of Kia, as they unveil yet another concept car. This time it’s a tiny all-electric city car, called POP. On the concepts side Lotus has already revealed that it will be presenting four concept vehicles in Paris: the Seven, the Esprit a hybrid Coupe and a four-door hybrid Panamera rival. Besides these concepts Lotus will also debut the Evora S and IPS.
In Paris there will also be a place for the presentation of facelifts. Mazda will be presenting the Mazda2 and Land Rover will be showing the refreshed Freelander 2. On Land Rover’s side there will also be a place for the premiere of the Range Rover Evoque.
With much more to come and surprises just around the corner, there is already a whole set of appetizers for what is to be shown in Paris from the 2nd of October until the 17th, at the Porte de Versailles Paris Expo centre.
