has created a microsite telling the story of its LMP1 car and a whole new gallery of images of the still-disguised racecar.

Porsche says that the project’s mission statement is: “Give it your all. Mobilize reserves you never even knew you had. Cruise to victory and look ahead to the next challenge from the winner's podium. Start from scratch again.”

Unfortunately, the microsite tells little about the car’s future. It looks more at the company’s previous successes at Le Mans and simple that its ultimate goal is to win at Le Mans in 2014.

It is definitely worth clicking through because most of the videos are not available on YouTube. One section is dedicated to history, and the other section is about the future.

What we do know about the 2014 LMP1 program is that Timo Bernhard. Romain Dumas and Mark Webber will be driving the car. Per the rules, the car will use some sort of hybrid powertrain, but it is up to them how much power the system has.

is rumored to be working on an LMP1 project, but that could will not debut until 2015 at the absolute earliest.

Porsche did add one of the videos from the microsite to YouTube, and it is below.
