“Porsche continued on its successful sales course in July with a strong gain in deliveries. We are confident that we will attain solid global growth figures over the rest of this year as well, despite economic uncertainty in Europe,” says Bernhard Maier, head of sales and marketing at Porsche AG.

Sales were up in every region for Porsche in July including Europe where sales were up 25% to 4,594 cars. Germany was up 31% to 1,694 cars. Usually the US is Porsche largest single market in terms of volume, but more Porsches were sold in China in July with 2,936 cars than the US with 2,803.

For the year so far, Porsche is also having sales gains in every region. It has sold 20% more cars (30,618 units) in Europe, 23% more (18,210 units) in China and 4% more (22,538 units) in North America. The US leads China in sales for the year so far with 19,253 sold there compared to 18,210 in China.
