will begins taking cars officially in Russia for the first time on July 1. It has dealers located in Moscow and will expand to other cities through the rest fo the year. It will begin the first sales of cars on July 31. 

"The smart symbolizes urban mobility better than any other car. We’re looking forward to becoming a fixed part of city life in Moscow as well," said Dr. Annette Winkler, Head of Smart.

model on sale. Smart believes that its ease to park and ability to maneuver in cities will make the Smart popular in Russia. 

Russia will be the 46th market in which Smart is sold.
