On the exterior, the refreshed Outback gets a new, tougher look with body-colored cladding as a replacement to the black cladding previously. There are two new colors – Deep Sea Blue Pearl and Dark Gray metallic. Other exterior upgrades include larger fog lights, gloss black trim around the headlights and standard gunmetal finish on the wheels.
The interior gets a new instrument display with digital gauges and black metallic trim
The Outback gets a revised suspension for better handling and an updated version of Subaru’s Vehicle Dynamics Control. The rear suspension now comes standard with self-leveling.
The final change to the Outback for the 2014 model year is the new SX trim level available only on the Outback 2.0D Lineartronic version. It gets 17in wheels, folding and heated mirrors with turn signals, roof spoiler, sunroof, self-leveling HID headlights, rain sensing wipers, headlight washers and windshield wiper de-icer. The interior gets heated, sport seats, dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth and rearview camera.
The refreshed models go on sale on November 1.
