Production on the Model S is just beginning. Tesla plans to build just 500 in the third quarter but 4,500 in the fourth quarter. The company claims that it has 11,500 orders to fill for the Model S. It is planning to sell 20,000 of them in 2013.
The next moves for Tesla are to grow globally and continue work on the Model X crossover. It recently opened a store in Oslo, Norway and is opening more stores in smaller cities in the US. The company has also partnered with ToyotaToyotaJapan, 1937 > present155 models
