-based compact crossover at the North American International Auto Show in January, and it has finally revealed the car with the Vezel concept at the Tokyo Motor Show.

The Vezel has a coupe-like arching roof and higher ride height of a crossover. It looks like a cross between the new Japanese Fit and a CR-VHonda CR-V Gen.4Japan, 2012 > present34 versions

. The interior is incredibly sparse with a central infotainment screen and standard instrument panel.

In Japan, the production Vezel will be offered with either a 1.5-liter direct injected four-cylinder engine or the same engine with a hybrid powertrain and dual-clutch transmission.

The Vezel will go on sale in Japan on December 20, 2013. It will come in the United States in late 2014 and to Europe in 2015. The Vezel name will likely not be used outside of Japan, according to Honda.

Honda also showed the S660 sports car concept and claims that a production version for the Japanese kei-car market is being developed for 2015.
