Toyota Group of Europe Posts 12% Sales Increase for Second Quarter

Group Europe (Toyota and Lexus) posted a 13% sales increase in the second quarter of 2012. The group sold 217,410 vehicles total in the quarter, which was made up of 205,235 Toyota and 12,175 Lexus vehicles.

For the entire year so far Toyota Group is up 2%. Its Western European sales are actually down 8% for the year but sales are up 5% in Eastern and Central Europe.
