Toyota Produces 200 Millionth Vehicle

completed its 200 millionth vehicle in June. It took the company 76 years and 11 months to reach the goal. 

Toyota's first vehicle was the Model G1 truck that went into production in August 1935 when the company was still known as Toyoda Automatic Loom Works Ltd. 

Toyota has built 145.21 million in that time and 55.12 million vehicles in the rest of the world. Since opening its first factory in Europe in 1992, Toyota has built 7.44 million cars there.
