S-Limited that goes on sale at the end of October. 

“Styled and targeted to the important sports-line SUV sub-segment and with a high level of equipment on offer, the S-Limited is very attractively priced and positioned. With its sporting look this new addition will complete the Grand Cherokee range while appealing to a whole new group of customers," said Nigel Land, brand director, Jeep Chrysler UK.

The truck is meant to bridge the gap between the Grand Cherokee SRT8 and more basic models. The S-Limited gets many of the SRT8's body parts but is powered by the 3.0-liter CRDI V6 diesel with 237hp. 

Upgrades include carbon fiber trim, a leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel, ventilated Nappa leather seats and aluminum pedals. It also gets a standard air suspension, all-wheel drive, adaptive cruise control, cross-path detection, Chrysler's Uconnect infotainment system, 20in black wheels, power tailgate, black grill, rear light bar and 825-watt Harman-Kardon stereo with 19 speakers and three sub-woofers.

Prices start at £44,595 on the road.
