UK Honda Dealers Taking Orders for NSX Now

. The dealers have just opened pre-orders for the car before most of the details about the car have even been revealed. Interested buyers need to lay down a deposit of £5,000 to have the right to buy the car in 2015. 

“We are really pleased with the interest we’ve already seen for the new NSX. We are still two years away from the launch of the car and yet we’ve received over 20 deposits and that’s before we’ve even announced prices or seen the final production car. With this process in place we are confident demand will remain strong and early hand raisers can now visit any Honda dealership in the UK and place a deposit," said Honda UK Managing Director Phil Crossman.

Honda unveiled the new NSX concept at the North American International Auto Show in January 2012, and it showed the production version at NAIAS 2013. We know that the powertrain will use a V6 engine with three electric motors. One motor powers each of the front wheels, and the third is connected to the V6 to power the rear wheels. While Honda has not revealed the power output for this yet, the new RLX hybridAcura RLX ConceptJapan, 2013 > present4 photos
is using a similar V6 and three electric motor layout. In the RLX it produces 370hp, so it seems that the NSX will have a minimum of that much power and likely more. 

Honda has also given some details on the car's interior including its Simple Sports Interface infotainment system. The NSX is meant to be a driver's car, and therefore Honda has simplified the interior technology to only what it feels the driver truly needs.
