Vūhl 05 Supercar to Be Introduced at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Bodies will be made in Canada, chassis in Mexico

The Vūhl 05 will be a North American supercar with a body from Canada and made in Mexico

The Vūhl 05 is a new supercar maker that will introduce its first car at the Goodwood Festival of Speed from July 11-14. The name Vūhl means Vehicles of Ultra- lightweight and High-performance.

Vūhl describes the 05 as a "road-legal lightweight supercar" that will be aimed at buyers looking for a premium track-day car.

The company is a truly North American effort. The design is by Mexican brothers Iker and Guillermo Echevrria. The bodies will be built in Canada and shipped to Mexico City where the chassis are fabricated and final assembly done. The company is backed by private investors and the Mexican Government.

The company has not revealed anything about its engine yet, but the company says that it has been working with FordFordFordUnited Kingdom, 1909 > present33 models

“We intend Vūhl products to be renowned for their effective simplicity and aesthetics guided by a purity of function. The 05 and its successors will also be notable for uncompromising build quality, rigorous attention to detail and a driving experience par excellence," said Iker Echevrria.
