Volvo V40 Images Revealed Ahead of Geneva

A Polish automotive magazine called Magazyn Motoryzacyjny has leaked the front and rear images of the Volvo V40 that was not supposed to be released until the Geneva Motor Show on March 6.

The new V40 borrows a lot of the style from the new S60 that was introduced in 2010. It has the broad hood and modern grill from the the S60. It looks like the V40 mounts its LED running lights low on the air dam. The image shows a massive glass roof on the V40, which will almost certainly be an option. The rear is totally different from the V60. The tail lights are shaped like hockey sticks, and it has a far more sculpted rear compared to the relatively flat V60.

There are still no specifics about the car's powertrain, but now we know what it looks like.
