Infiniti presented the Performance Line (IPL) G Cabrio Concept at the 2010 Paris Motor Show .

The IPL G Cabrio Concept is powered by Infiniti’s 3.7-litre V6 engine with 338 PS. The concept vehicle achieves 18 PS more than the standard engine because of a high-flow dual exhaust system. The maximum torque output was increased from 360 to 274 Nm, with the linear acceleration being kept. The Cabrio Concept has also received upgrades on its running gear. It features a sports suspension, with 10% stiffer springs and recalibrated dampers, are fitted and the body sits a little lower. Matted with a seven speed automatic transmission with magnesium paddle shifts, the IPL G Cabrio reaches a top speed of 270 km/h, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h under 6 seconds.

The four-seat cabriolet with electric folding hard-top comes with a new look and classically luxurious cabin. It features Malbec Black painting and Monaco Red leather interior as well as 19-inch split-rim 7-spoke graphite-finish alloy wheels. Its looks are based around a sporting new front-end design. IPL G Cabrio Concept has a new bumper section and blacked-out grille and headlight surrounds that give it a more aggressive look. Inside the centre console is finished with black lacquer while the dashboard area above the glove box and doors are adorned with KACCHU, the name given to the armour used by Japan’s feudal warlords, or samurai, in the Middle Ages.
