History, Development and General Characteristics

The year of 1956 saw the unveiling of Lancia’s fifth generation Aurelia, which brought back the coupe body version. This car was now more focused on luxury rather than in performance.
Along with the coupe, the Cabriolet variant returned as well, replacing the previous Spider open car as the new B24 convertible version.

Engine and Transmission

Fifth series Lancia Aurelias are powered by a 2451 cc V6 front engine. The coupe’s engine produces up to 118 hp, while the convertible’s generates up to 110 hp.
These cars’ top speed is estimated to be 115 mi/h (185 km/h).
Fifth series Aurelias remain rear-wheel driven and come with 4-speed manual transmissions, just like the previous generations.
