The Kubang is a SUV concept unveiled at 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. Maserati had previously presented the Kubang SUV concept at the Detroit Motor Show in 2003. The new SUV concept is based on the same platform used by Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango. Set to go on sale in 2012, the SUV will be powered by a version of Maserati's 4.7 litre V8 and a 3 litre V6 diesel engine version for the European market.
