The car also holds the standing mile world record of 257.7mph that it set in March, 2012.

Here is a video of the car setting its standing mile record in March. It shows a little more detail on the twin-turbo beast.

Despite the high speeds, the car is very calm. There are no spinning tires or smoke, and the car is not even really all that loud.
