is finally ready to show its limited edition CC100 Speedster Concept. Just two will be built, but Aston Martin will keep one of them, so there will be only one lucky buyer in the world. The car debuted during the parade lap of the 2013 Nürburgring 24 Hours on Sunday, May 19. “CC100 is the epitome of everything that is great about Aston Martin. It represents our fantastic sporting heritage, our exceptional design capability, our superb engineering know-how and, above all, our adventurous spirit,” said CEO Ulrich Bez.
The style is modernized take on the DBR1. It includes a modern elliptical Aston Martin nose and headlights with many of the lines from the DBR1. The body is made entirelt from carbon fiber. It is 4.5m long and 2m wide.
Aston Martin Design Director Marek Reichman and Chief Exterior Designer Miles Nurnberger created the two cars in less than six months at its headquarters in Gaydon, England.
“The need to create a truly fitting tribute to 100 years of the Aston Martin brand has brought out the creativity and talent that makes Aston Martin such an exceptional luxury sports car maker," said Reichman.
