Classic and BMW Classic are joining together to bring two classic BMW racecars to Le Mans classic. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of M Gmbh, a BMW V12 LMRBMW V12 LMRGermany, 1999 > present3 photos

will race at Le Mans classic on July 6-8. 

In addition to the two cars racing, BMW will have a display of its classic race cars and will be offering rides around the track at various times during the weekend. There will also be a BMW parade on July 7 for BMW racecars that will be led by the V12 LMR.

While BMW will bring two cars officially, private owners will have 13 other classic BMWs on track. There will be three BMW 328sBMW 328Germany, 1936 > 19403 photos
, five 3.0 CSLs and five M1s. Dieter Quester will drive the same car that he drove in 1973.
