In addition to its entire North American lineup, the automaker is also bringing five models from Europe and Asia that are not currently availabe in North America. “NAIAS kicks off the global auto show season and gives us a unique opportunity to show off the depth of Chevrolet’s global product lineup. The appearance of these five global vehicles further reinforces Chevrolet’s commitment to tailor vehicles to our customers’ needs around the world," said Mary Barra, head of product development at GM. 

The only vehicle among them with an analogue in the United States is the Trax, which is sold as the upscale Buick Encore. Although, the Trax is sold in Canada and Mexico.

The Orlando is sold in South Korea and Canada as a mix between a MPV and a crossover that seats seven people.

The Sail is sold in China as a five-door hatchback. It is built in China and sold there as well as in Chile, Peru, Bolivia, India, Colombia and Ecuador.

The Spin is a compact, seven-passenger MPV built in Indonesia and sold there and in Thailand.

The Onix is a five-door hatchback from Brazil.
