Hyundai is taking over Piccadilly Circus by putting up an 116 sq. meter LED billboard in the iconic space. The space had been controlled by Sanyo since 1978. It is estimated that the space is seen by 56 million people a year. The Sanyo board was the last remaining one that still used neon tubes for lighting.
“We are delighted to have achieved such a prestigious space in the heart of such a vibrant city. It is a rare opportunity for our brand to become part of the London landscape and to engage with millions of global consumers on a daily basis," said Tony Whitehorn, managing director, Hyundai UK says.
