The Nissan Murano will receive in September a new diesel powertrain with the objective of reinforcing Nissan's Crossover leadership. The new engine join the launch of the latest Crossover model of Nissan, the Juke, the fourth member of Nissan's Crossover range.
The Murano will be fitted with an enhanced version of Nissan's 2.5 dCi four cylinder engine that combines effortless torque, refinement and reduced consumption and emissions, in line with European drivers actual demands.
The diesel version of the Murano, available with a six-speed automatic gearbox, will have a maximum output of 190PS and 450Nm of torque and features a new direct injection system which operates at 2000 bar, up from 1800 bar, with the increased pression resulting in more complete combustion.
Nissan's advanced ALL MODE 4x4-i technology transmits the power to the road, sending power to the rear-wheels when a loss of stability or traction is detected.
