Renault Samsung unveil new SM7 sedan

Renault Samsung Motors (the South Korean subsidiary of Renault) have revealed the SM7 – a large prestige sedan specific to the Korean market. Almost identical to its concept predecessor that was shown at the Seoul Motor Show in April, the SM7 will become the flagship vehicle of Renault Samsung’s revitalized line-up.    

Preliminary details and images released by Renault reveal that the SM7 will feature generous exterior proportions with bold lines, a spacious interior and boot, bi-Xenon headlights and twin exhaust tailpipes. The manufacturer is also promising ‘plush comfort, silent ride, precise chassis and high-performance engines’.    

The SM7 will go on sale in Korea sometime in the second half of this year during which time more details – such as powertrain and interior – should be released.
